Why doesn't the QR code scanning work?

Possible reasons:

  • Ensure your phone and computer are on the same WiFi network
  • Check if your computer's firewall is blocking PhotoBus network services

Will photos and videos be automatically deleted after syncing?

No, they won't be automatically deleted. You need to:

  • Manually manage deletions from the synced items page
  • Or delete from your system gallery (please confirm content has been synced first)

Will my LivePhotos and other special formats sync?

Yes, these original files will sync. They are displayed as exported images, but you can view the original files by clicking the "View Original File" button on desktop.

What happens if I delete the app after syncing?

Deleting the app will:

  • Lose the current device's identification
  • Be recognized as a new device upon reinstallation
  • Although duplicate content checks prevent re-syncing, we don't recommend deleting the app after use

Can my photos and videos be leaked?

No. PhotoBus implements these security measures:

  • All transfers occur locally between devices, nothing is uploaded to the internet
  • Transfers are HTTPS encrypted, preventing interception by other devices on the network

How do I delete sync records?

Long press on the device in the synced devices list to delete its sync records.
